We are not sad anymore if she is born,
She now knows how to stand and take you along.
Yet we get scared to see her grow,
As they say, but it isn’t equal at all.
We won’t say no if she steps out,
Since we know we have taught her to fight.
Yet we get scared if she goes,
As it can get scary and dark at nights.
We shall not scold if she wears short clothes,
For we know she knows how to carry herself.
Yet we get scared to have her walk in them,
As we cannot control what they imagine.
We also won’t be sad if he is born,
As far as we are sure we teach him.
Some equality, manners & respect for her,
Because we will control what he will later imagine.
